  1. This site is amazing!

  2. Enjoyed your op-ed in the IHT about how myopic we are becoming. Yes, there are other values beyond markets, commodification. My former professor and mentor recently said, “I was saying to myself that it would be worthwhile, in terms of (Inter)acting with the Inner Partner, to have some time to discuss what is, or was and still is, caring for the soul -for example, as Plato discussed in relation to Socrates. And what is need for that caring for the soul right now, nowadays when there is so little time for caring for the soul, when life is more about consuming, and there’s more and more attention given to consuming than asking: “So who needs what and why?” If you’re curious, it’s in the following interview with him here: http://www.interactingwiththeinnerpartner.org/Videos.html

Thanks again. And good luck. Paka!

Vadim, great article. I found it in a media frenzy of recent hysteria surrounding Orania/ Kleinfontein. As an Afrikaner with an interest in self sufficiency I have to ask myself -would it not make me a bigot if I were to dismiss these people when they are doing exactly what I have been dreaming of. Why look at places like Portugal or Hungary, Georgia where I might feel safe(r) out in the country when my compatriots are working at solutions within our own context? Quite rightly you say that liberal white urbanites are doing little to change their white privilege except for coming out to cry in public places while their dishes are being washed cheap as ever by a pair of black hands.

A person who lives in a NATO country, got Western education, defended thesis on American democracy promotion in the former Soviet Union, but supports putin and russian war against Ukraine, supports antiwestern policy of russia stinks. He should move to his lovely motherland and lives among birches.
